Speaking on the meaning behind the LP, the 32-year-old described ‘Petal ‘as:
“Something that is full of life and growing through the cracks of something cold and hard and challenging.”
The announcement marks her first full-length album since ‘Sunshine,’ which debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 and spawned chart-toppers ‘yes, and?’ and ‘we can’t be friends (wait for your love).’
