Billboard 200: Chris Brown Lands 13th Top 10 Album With ‘Brown’

Chris Brown has added another major milestone to his already stacked chart résumé.

The performer’s latest studio album, ‘Brown,’ officially opens inside the top 10 of the Billboard 200 this week following days of heavy streaming activity and intense fan conversation online.

More details below…

The set debuts at #7 on the chart with 65,000 equivalent album units earned in its opening frame. Streaming drove the lion’s share of the total, with 60.31 million on-demand streams translating to 60,000 SEA units.

The project also premieres at #4 on Billboard’s Top Streaming Albums chart.

The album arrived following a string of singles, including ‘Holy Blindfold,‘It Depends’ featuring Bryson Tiller, ‘Obvious,’ and ‘Fallin’’ with Leon Thomas. All four tracks have performed well on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop tally and also crossed over onto the Billboard Hot 100.

The chart debut comes amid mixed reactions surrounding the album online, something the singer himself recently addressed directly on social media.

Still, commercial support appears strong as Brown secures his 13th top 10-charting project overall.

Next up, C. Breezy is gearing up to hit the road alongside Usher for their co-headlining ‘The R&B’ stadium tour, which launches June 26 in Denver before wrapping in Tampa this December.

I’m so glad Drake makes amazing music and Ion have to worry about overly streaming his music and hating on everyone like other folks do with their failing faves
