Chris Brown Ties Justin Bieber for Most Hits in Hot 100 History Among Male Vocalists Thanks to ‘Fallin’ Debut

Published: Friday 15th May 2026 by Rashad

Thanks to one of his latest singles, ‘Fallin,’ R&B bad boy Chris Brown has fallen back into Hot 100 history books.

‘Fallin’ debuted at #90 on this week’s Hot 100; here are the numbers that powered its placement.

  • Sales ≈ 1,500 digital downloads
  • Streaming ≈ 4 million U.S.-base streams
  • Radio airplay ≈ 3.8 million audience impressions

Released on May 1 as the fourth single from the R&B bad boy’s 12th studio album ‘BROWN‘ (available now), the Leon Thomas-assisted tune – which earned critical acclaim for its ‘Sinners‘-inspired music video – came as the follow-up to hits ‘It Depends,’ ‘Holy Blindfold,’ and ‘Obvious.’

Even more notable, ‘Fallin’ marks the 37-year-old’s 123rd hit on the Hot 100 – a tally that ties him with Justin Bieber for most placements among male vocalists in the chart’s 67-year history.

Should any of the other 24 tracks from the ‘BROWN’ LP land on next edition of the hitlist, Chris will be the sole owner of the record.

Among all artists, however, rapper Drake remains the overall leader with a whopping 362 entries to his credit as of the time of this report.
