Drake is on track to surpass Jay-Z for the most No. 1 albums by a rapper.

Early projections suggest Iceman’ could sell up to 520,000 album-equivalent units in its first week. That would mark Drake’s 15th #1 debut on the Billboard 200.

He and Jay-Z are currently tied at 14 chart-topping albums each. A #1 debut for ‘Iceman’ would break that tie. It would also tie Drake with Taylor Swift for the most #1 albums by a soloist. Only The Beatles have more, with 19.

As reported, ‘Iceman’ is projected to debut at #1. ‘Maid of Honour’ and ‘Habibti’ could also chart high right behind it.

When it comes to the Canadian titan and Hov, murmurs of frosty terrain have gained volume.

Recently, Jay addressed the alleged beef in a recent GQ interview, distancing himself from the Drake-Kendrick Lamar battle.

    My homie’s hardcore Drake fan:
he says :Iceman is . . . lukewarm,
    too commercial, same ole 1,2,1,2,
    forgettable, made-for-TikTok, and
overkill with 3 LPs of throwaways.
It was Drake’s chance to reinvent
himself as a 40-y-o single father,
    but Kendrick took the confidence,
swag, AND THE ACCENT outta him!
I’ll go to the tour, but this ain’t it.”
