Lizzo is taking the boots-on-the-ground initiative to make sure her new album ‘B*tch‘ sells.

The Texas superstar shared via socials that she was out in the streets putting up album promo posters for her latest project because her record label wouldn’t do so.
Coming as the latest headline in what’s been a rocky album rollout for the GRAMMY-winning diva, she recently blamed the Instagram algorithm for the reason people didn’t know she was dropping a new project – adding to the accusation that she also didn’t have a marketing budget from her label.

We saw the same with Cardi B during the release of ‘Am I The Drama?’ She took the boots-on-the-ground approach by selling CDs on a train and doing different meet and greets, and it worked.
Like Cardi, Lizzo seems to be putting in the work to prove the haters, and even her own label, wrong in the process.
‘B*tch’ album is set to be released on June 5.
