‘Pop Dat Thang‘ is not only marking a massive career comeback for embattled rapper DaBaby, but it’s easily one of the year’s biggest Rap records.
Maximizing on the momentum of the Sean Da Firzt-produced hit (which so far has peaked at #29 on the Hot 100), the 8x GRAMMY nominee (born Jonathan Kirk) ended April by tapping fellow Hip-Hop hitmakers Yung Miami (of the City Girls), GloRilla, and relative newcomer YKNiece to serve on its official remix.
“Pop dat thang, let it clap, let it clap / Ride this D while you sit on my lap (Let’s go) / Spread them cheeks, let me see that h*le / Shake that a** like you out of control,” they rap on the song’s now-viral chorus.
Friday (May 8) brought with it the high-octane tune’s BenMarc-directed music video. See the action inside.

The devil has totally hijacked black music. You won’t find anything filthier. These people need to be dropped off on an island surrounded by shark infested waters with no access to microphones, studios, or cameras.
