Giveon may be best known for cloaking slow-burning, heart-tugging R&B ballads with his unmistakable baritone, but with new song ‘Jezebel‘ he’s taking a hiatus to the dancefloor.
A clear nod to the Funk-filled jams of yesteryear, the Matthew Burnett-produced bop is one of five new tracks found aboard ‘Act II‘ – the deluxe edition of the GRAMMY nominee’s critically acclaimed ‘Beloved‘ album.
“You share your love from time to time / To no surprise, another man will have what’s mine / Can you tell me what he wants from you? (Oh, from you, girl) / And I don’t mind it (I don’t mind it) / Pretty Jezebel,” he sings on the uptempo number.
To celebrate the May 15 arrival of ‘Act II,’ Giveon unveiled the official ‘Jezebel’ music video helmed by Loris Russier.
