In a surprise address on Instagram Stories, the hitmaker fessed that “we ain’t ready” and cited the need to complete his forthcoming album.
He wrote:
“I promised y’all beautiful people new music, and I don’t have the time to finish it before tour starts. We ain’t ready for tour just yet, so I’m making the decision to push the tour back about 3 weeks to get this music done.”

The move affects the first six scheduled dates; the affected cities are El Paso, Oxford, Waco, Baton Rouge, Birmingham, and Tampa.
Originally set to launch on May 13, the jaunt will now kick off on June 9 in Charlotte, N.C.
