The singer and reality TV star participated in Kick streamer Adin Ross‘s UFC Apex event, Brand Risk #14, in Las Vegas. He faced YouTuber DeShawn Raw, also known as Supa Hot Fire.
The fight ended in the second round. Furthermore, Raw delivered a swift, powerful punch that stunned Ray J. Consequently, he fell to the floor, and the referee rushed to check on him. Ray J tried to get up but sat down, clearly exhausted. Therefore, the referee ended the match.
After the fight, however, Ray J suggested the match was fixed. He claimed Raw did not fight as planned.
“Damn, bro … like that? For real … that’s janky as f**k,” he said. “We took an L tonight. You know how much money we lost? Wow … wow.”
In response, Ross promised to investigate the claims. Nevertheless, he clarified that the actual fight was not rigged.
This MMA bout comes several months after Ray J reportedly hospitalized himself for pneumonia and heart pains. At that time, he shared a video suggesting he did not have much time left to live. “2027 is definitely a wrap for me,” he said.
A health scare. A knockout loss. And now, questions about the fix.
