According to TMZ, Moon Dream Production filed a lawsuit against the rapper and her touring company, Icy Grl Touring. The claims include fraud and breach of contract.

The promoter alleges they struck a deal for four performances across Japan between July 18 and July 26, 2025.

The total fee was $200,000. 100,000 was reportedly paid upfront.

Saweetie allegedly failed to appear for any of the performances. The promoter claims it helped secure visa services for the rapper and her team to enter Japan. Instead, Saweetie allegedly performed at other venues for different promoters during the exact dates she had committed to Moon Dream.

The promoter also claims it lost an additional $100,000 for promotional campaigns and 200,000 to secure the venues.

Moon Dream argues the concerts were expected to generate around $400,000 in profit before everything unravelled.

The company is now seeking damages for breach of contract, plus a hefty $3 million in punitive damages.

Saweetie released her EP ‘Hella Pressure’ last summer. She has not yet publicly responded to the lawsuit.

Saweetie isn’t the best rapper but she actually had hits. Something doesn’t add up. Clearly she upset the wrong people. Then fell off. Lost so much momentum…delays…. Plus there’s been like zero growth
