Serving as the follow-up to 2024’s ‘Tori.,’ the project sees Kelly pivot away from glossy, high-energy production in favour of a more stripped-back, acoustic-leaning R&B sound.
Previewing the LP are the May 8-due new singles ‘Control’ and ‘Dive,’ offering a first taste of what promises to be her most intimate body of work yet.
The album isn’t just for Kelly, it’s for everyone. Speaking on the purpose of the album she shared that:
“The title is ‘God Must Really Love Me,’ but at the end of the day, I would love it if people felt that for themselves too”
Created during and after touring with Ed Sheeran, the album blossomed in the wake of motherhood, with inspiration striking shortly after the birth of her son. ‘God Must Really Love Me’ arrives June 12.
