Drake remains the man to beat on the Billboard 200.
The Rap superstar’s latest album, ‘ICEMAN,’ has secured a third consecutive week at #1, further cementing the blockbuster success of his chart-conquering era.
Full story below…
Per Billboard, ‘ICEMAN’ moved 171,000 equivalent album units in the latest tracking week, powered largely by streaming activity.
The project generated 174.42 million on-demand streams across the tracking period.
The feat is particularly notable because it marks the first Drizzy album to spend at least three weeks at #1 since ‘Certified Lover Boy’ tallied five weeks atop the tally in 2021.
Of the hitmaker’s 15 Billboard 200 chart-toppers (!), only five have managed to spend three or more weeks at #1. His longest-running leader remains ‘Views,’ which dominated for 13 weeks in 2016.
The success of ‘ICEMAN’ comes amid an already historic run for the Toronto native, who recently became the first artist ever to simultaneously occupy the top three spots on the Billboard 200 with ‘ICEMAN,’ ‘HABIBTI,’ and ‘MAID OF HONOUR.’
And while ‘HABIBTI’ has now slipped to #10, Drake’s grip on the charts clearly remains stronger than ever.
