The R&B mainstay took to his social media story to announce that a deluxe edition of his latest album is officially on the way, and the timing couldn’t be more intentional.
Despite receiving mixed reviews for the original project, Chris is doubling down, revealing that the deluxe will feature 10 brand-new songs and is set to drop on Juneteenth, June 19th.

The original album featured an impressive lineup of guest appearances by NBA YoungBoy, GloRilla, Tank, Sexyy Red, Lucky Daye, Fridayy, and more. So, the question now is who will be showing up on the deluxe.
This timing also works in Chris’s favor in a major way.
With a co-headlining tour with Usher on the horizon, 10 new songs give him more than enough fresh material to bring to the stage and keep the energy going well into the tour season.
Chris Brown has never been the type to let a project go quietly, and with the deluxe dropping on one of the most culturally significant days on the calendar, it’s clear he has a point to prove.
It’s actually not that bad an album. Takes a while but it is a grower.
