Despite nearly 13 years separating fans of Kelly Rowland (affectionately called #RowlandStones) from her last studio album ‘Talk a Good Game,’ she’s still giving them plenty of reasons to talk about what’s to come.
Unlike her previous endeavors, however, Rowland is keeping her promise that her next LP will drop without warning.

Shining on the red carpet of ‘The Connie Orlando Foundation Presents Black Women in Music Dinner’ at the Audrey Irmas Pavilion in Los Angeles on Friday (June 12), Rowland was on-hand to receive the Velvet Guard Award honor.
While chatting it up with our friends at VIBE magazine, the GRAMMY winner gave a somewhat nondescript response when quizzed about particulars surrounding her long-awaited new album.
“I have no details just yet. I think everything in the world is just said, it’s seen, it’s everything. I don’t wanna tell. I don’t. I just want it to happen,” she relayed during the brief interview before sharing, “It’s a quality I love about Beyoncé. It’s a quality I love about Rihanna. They’re like, ‘yes, yes, we’re doing it. It’s done. It’s out.’”
The statement echoes a sentiment Rowland shared in 2023 when faced with a similar inquiry.
“I just won’t say anything in the first place,” Rowland said at the time in relation to previously unfulfilled promises of new music. “Let me just be spontaneous and just go in the studio, nobody knows, and just randomly release music. That’s the way it should be; it should be a surprise.”
At most, the 45-year-old has confirmed she is indeed hard-at-work on the new project but – as of time of this report – has not unveiled any details about logistics (i.e. sonic direction, collaborators, tentative single release date, or potential album release date).

By far, the worst b00b job in Hollywood.
I can’t wait
Bish, you are in yo own lane! Stop talking other artists name. This is why you are always living in Beyoncé’s shadow. Plus Rihanna haven’t released an album for almost 10 years… this is giving when people asking for Jessica Simpson’s album. She said it is like Britney Spears meeting Mariah Carey… A flop is always a flop! Loser!
You are right even tho you could do that without the cursing but thats 100% right. She always act like Beyonces Background what did they have to do with this question she alwys try to bring Beyonce to the conversation.
