It’s very much clapback season.
Latto has fired back at Joe Budden after the podcaster suggested that Drake helped pen portions of her new album and that she borrowed his flow on select tracks.

During a recent episode of ‘The Joe Budden Podcast’, Budden shared his thoughts on the ‘Big Mama’ album and speculated that parts of the project felt heavily Drake-inspired.
Specifically, he claimed that on one track the femcee appeared to adopt the flow and cadence of the ‘Take Care’ rapper. Budden also suggested that the ‘Shabang’ hitmaker may have contributed to the writing of portions of the album.

Latto, however, wasn’t about to let the claims slide.
The rap star responded by tagging Budden in a post that included what appeared to be proof that she penned a verse from ‘Hostage’ back in January, seemingly shutting down suggestions that someone else was behind her bars.

The exchange comes shortly after Latto made headlines for her cryptic bars on ‘Gimme Dat’, which many listeners linked to her ongoing drama with Cardi B.
With tensions continuing to simmer, it appears the Atlanta rapper is more than willing to defend both her pen and her place in the game.
