Easily one of the year’s most highly anticipated R&B offerings, Chloe Bailey and Timbaland‘s joint mixtape ‘Resurrection‘ had barely landed on digital streaming services before fans of both artists were already raving over the project.
This, especially after finally getting a full listen to the project’s teased first single ‘Talking Dirty.’
“Tonight it’s me on top, tonight, boy, we won’t stop / So dirty, ain’t gotta rush, you heard me / This ain’t a thing you see / Tonight I’ll use my words, tonight I’m talking dirty,” sings Chloe over Timbo’s thumping production.
One of 13 gems that line the June 19-released effort, hop inside to get acquainted with ‘Dirty’ courtesy of its short-but-sweet official music video directed by Andrew Makadsi and Derek Milton.

THJ Timbalandnsyated we getting a part 2 of the visual so she may be doing like what she did with TIP.
Timbo lookin’ at her like “Lil girl, we
ion need ‘nother ho in the industry.
But go’head, intro me to yng blood!”
Timbaland can’t even save her Flop ass. The mixtape is a huge disappointment… only caught and better than she can are decent… the rest are just generic fillers
Somewhere along the way her ritual assignments went downhill and she is struggling/desperate and it shows. Truly sad for her about this tbh. Hopefully she gets a better team and better direction. Timbaland is a great producer but he is not a saving grace to any career outside of Aaliyah and JT. Aaliyah put him on, so the dedication to producing great songs were there to stay relevant. JT gave him commercial appeal to whiter audiences, so he worked harder. After that, it’s been stale ever since. She should have used Darkchild for this project instead.
Chloe is sticking with this heaux persona all the way to the poor house. Girl, don’t you wanna make some money? Don’t you want to see success? Ain’t nobody round you analyzed why you stay stuck in the mud? Why aren’t questions being asked like, “Is it the image? Is it the subject matter? What type of songs were sung in Chloe x Halle that brought success? Are R&B heaux still in? Do we need to do an about face? Should we return to your roots? Can we at least try something not secksual if only one time?” This is so tragic to watch this beautiful, talented Sista who really could be running the game ruin her best years doing the same thing over and over and over without noticing that her sister is winning by NOT doing what she is doing.
