Brandy‘s daughter Sy’Rai Smith, known mononymously as Sy’Rai, is all grown up and proving she’s ready for the spotlight by her lonesome with the sensual new single ‘Late Night.’
The confident, slow-burning track oozes maturity and sex appeal as the lyrics see the 23-year-old pine for a little attention and affection from that special someone in her life.
“You know my body’s feening for you / I just wanna give it all to you / Need time to speed up / I just wanna see what’s up with you / Saying you know what to do / So come through right now / Come see about me tonight,” she croons over Troy Taylor production.

I expected more for a Troy Taylor production – was a little slow and flat for me but I’m a fan of Sy’rai!
I like Sy’rai, but don’t love the seksiness angle. Brandy got to where she is not being this way. She took the girl next door route, and look at her now. Sy’rai can sing, but this aint it in my opinion. You can be secksy without being secksy. Chloe Bailey, if you’re reading this, this is your problem also. Look at Halle’s career vs yours and get a clue. She’s the good girl, and you’re the heaux. Heauxing isn’t doing anything but holding you back.
