    Halo actually is a quality record. Most of her songs, though, are microwave, throwaway music with no staying power. Her early stuff had longevity potential, but after Matthew Knowles her catalog took a nose dive. Ain’t no future artist or talent show contestant about to sing “Suck on my bahlz.”
