New York was outside in full force on Thursday (June 18) as hometown hero Fat Joe helped turn the city’s long-awaited New York Knicks Championship Parade into a full-blown Hip-Hop celebration.

The Bronx native, who revealed he was personally recruited to oversee the parade’s music moments, rolled through his own float and delivered an electric performance of the Terror Squad anthem ‘Lean Back’ alongside Remy Ma, which even had Mayor Mamdani moving. Check it out below.

Ja Rule also hit the festivities with a crowd-pleasing performance of ‘New York.’
Adding to the spectacle, icons including Wu-Tang Clan, Mary J. Blige, Jadakiss and Fabolous all joined the citywide victory lap as Manhattan erupted in celebration.
