Ariana Grande is once again sparking speculation. The singer changed the lyrics to ‘thank u, next’ during her Eternal Sunshine tour stop in Brooklyn on Monday night, fuelling rumours of a reunion with ex-boyfriend Ricky Alvarez.

The original line goes: “Wrote some songs about Ricky / Now I listen and laugh.”
At Barclays Center, she changed it to: “Wrote some songs about Ricky / We always find our way back.”
Fans captured the moment on video. The crowd erupted in cheers.

This is the third lyric change about Alvarez on this tour. On June 26, she sang: “Know he still got my back.” He was in the audience that night. She previously sang: “And they still really slap” on June 24.
The latest tweak comes after a sighting. Grande and Alvarez spent the Fourth of July weekend together in Florida. A source told Us Weekly they “always shared a close bond.”
The source added she is “happy to reconnect with him” after her split from Ethan Slater.
Grande and Alvarez dated from 2015 to 2016. Neither has addressed the rumours directly.
