Ariana Grande is taking legal action.

The singer filed a lawsuit against unnamed hackers for leaking unreleased songs and footage from recording sessions and music videos.

Full story below…

The suit was filed on Monday in Los Angeles.

Grande’s legal team accuses the hackers of phishing scams and hacking schemes that caused “unlawful and egregious theft, dissemination, and exploitation of unreleased content.”

The lawsuit claims hackers targeted the personal digital accounts of photographers and producers who worked closely with Grande. They subsequently sold the data and content for “significant sums of money.”

The suit states that hundreds of leaks have occurred since Grande made her music debut in 2011. In 2019, hackers acquired the login for a Dropbox account belonging to a photographer who had worked with her. The following year, they hacked the mobile device of a producer and accessed unreleased masters, demos, and footage.

In 2023 alone, hackers obtained access to 45 of her unreleased songs and leaked them. In 2024, they created a Gmail account impersonating a photographer to obtain unreleased photos.

Grande is suing to “uncover the identities” of the hackers and hold them accountable.
