Thanks to his latest album ‘The Real Me,’ serial hitmaker Future finds himself in a familiar spot on the Billboard 200 this week.
Future’s ‘The Real Me’
First-Week Sales (SPS): 131,000 units
Predicted Billboard 200 Debut: #1
On par with industry analyst predictions, ‘The Real Me’ marched to the #1 spot on the updated Billboard 200 thanks to total first-week sales of 131,000.
Bolstered primarily by streams, the project also benefited from the commercial performance of four vinyl variants, a standard edition, two 21-track CD editions, and a 22-track digital version.
Keeping his 11-year #1s streak intact (among his solo studio albums), ‘The Real Me’ comes as the 12th time Future (born Nayvadius Wilburn) has held the Billboard 200’s top spot over his illustrious the career – moving the 3-time GRAMMY winner to third place on the all-time list of American acts with the most toppers on the tally following Taylor Swift (15) and JAY-Z (14).
He was previously locked in a three-way tie with Kanye West and Eminem (11 each). Among all artists, however, Future ranks fourth following The Beatles (19), Drake (15), Swift (15), and JAY (14).
