The rapper posted a heated Instagram Story today (July 10), just hours after publicly apologizing to the Atlanta Rap star.
The posts coincided with the release of Future’s new album, ‘The Real Me,’ which dropped on July 10 through Freebandz and Epic Records. The 22-track project contains no guest features.
Earlier in the day, YoungBoy appeared on Instagram Live with Offset. He admitted he had been “crashing out,” thanked Offset for encouraging him to stay focused, and publicly apologized to Future.
Hours later, YoungBoy uploaded a video with aggressive bars. Although he did not mention Future by name, the timing fueled speculation. He rapped:
“B**** you flopped with your b**** ass, f*** you your old ass b**** YOU A H**.”
He continued with insults about the unnamed artist “flopping” and warned fans not to “gas it up.”
Fans quickly concluded the lyrics were aimed at Future.
The remarks come amid a busy period for Future. The Real Me is his first solo studio album since ‘I Never Liked You’ in 2022. He previously topped the Billboard 200 with the collaborative projects ‘We Don’t Trust You’ and ‘We Still Don’t Trust You’ with Metro Boomin.
