That Black Eyed Peas’ reunion with Fergie at this year’s American Music Awards may have hinted that the hitmaking group has new music cooking after nearly decade-long hiatus, but – if it’s true – they’ll have to wait a little longer to find out because the group’s frontman Will.I.Am has his eyes set on more solo offerings.
The latest of such comes courtesy of ‘Sick A** Foos’ – a tribute of sorts to his East L.A. roots.
“You’re not down, yes, I am / I’m the sickest one / Went on a beer run / And that’s when the sick one begun / What’s up, foo? What’s up? What’s up, foo? / I’m a sick a** foo’,” he spits in the new song.
Featuring Lil Mr. E of Foos Gone Wild alongside newcomer Toxica, the cut’s arrival was accompanied by a music video directed by Sterling Hampton IV.
