Ariana Grande’s Team Confirms the Break
A representative for the 33-year-old confirmed the plan to PEOPLE, framing it as a deliberate pause rather than a retreat.
“Ariana will be taking a step back from visibility.”
The rep added that Grande intends to close the run healthily and happily before taking what they described as a much-deserved break from appearances, pointing to relentless and ongoing public scrutiny as the reason.
On the tour itself, the message was warmer. Her camp called the experience a beautiful one and stressed how much she has enjoyed every night of it.
The West End Run Is Off
The decision carries a casualty on this side of the Atlantic. Grande will no longer appear in the West End revival of Stephen Sondheim’s ‘Sunday in the Park with George.’
The production was due to open at the Barbican Centre next summer, with her ‘Wicked’ co-star Jonathan Bailey opposite her. A source close to the singer says she still intends to champion the team behind it.
