Ariana Grande is turning up the legal heat in her battle against those allegedly stealing and leaking her unreleased material.

Just weeks after launching a lawsuit against anonymous hackers, the Pop superstar has scored a significant court victory that could bring her closer to discovering who is behind the accounts distributing her music, photos, and video footage.

Per Billboard, a Los Angeles County judge granted Grande permission to immediately subpoena social media platforms and payment services allegedly used in the distribution and sale of the stolen material.

The platforms named include Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, and Discord,

It’s of note that the companies themselves are not accused of wrongdoing.

Instead, Grande is seeking information that could identify the anonymous users behind the accounts.

Her attorney argued that without records from the third parties, the singer would be unable to unmask those allegedly responsible and seek relief for the harm caused to her privacy and artistry.

The legal wrangle follows years of frustration for the 33-year-old songbird, whose team says an investigation has been underway since 2023 after a reported 45 unreleased tracks surfaced online.

Among them was ‘Fantasize,’ which unexpectedly went viral and prompted Grande to publicly slam the “crooks” leaking her material.

Now, with the court giving permission to pursue identifying information, the mystery surrounding those leaks could be moving closer to an answer.
