Cardi B is laughing right to the top of multiple Billboard charts thanks to her latest song ‘Ah Ha.’
Following its July 31 release, Cardi’s ‘Ah Ha‘ hit this week’s Billboard Hot 100 at #25. Here are the numbers that powered its placement.
- Streaming ≈ 9.7 million U.S.-based streams
- Sales ≈ 9,500 copies sold
- Radio Airplay ≈ 5.6 million audience impressions
Although driven primarily by digital sales, the handsome commercial combo above helped Cardi (born Belcalis Almanzar) land her 38th top 40 hit and 66th Hot 100 career entry overall. At writing, only Nicki Minaj (75) has attained more placements in the top 40 among female rappers.
Also thanks to the approximate 9,500 copies sold in its opening week, ‘Ah Ha’ debuted at #2 on the updated Digital Song Sales tally – making it the week’s highest-charting new song. Among all tunes, only Ella Langley‘s history-making ‘Choosin Texas’ sold more.
The Billboard news comes amid rumors Cardi is not only filming a music video for her newest hit (as seen below) but also tapping fellow femcee Kash Doll to assist on an official remix.
