'Building the Band' Group Soulidified Signs to Atlantic Records: "We're Just Getting Started"

Soulidified has signed to Atlantic Records.

The group, formed on Netflix’s ‘Building the Band,’ announced the deal just one year after making their television debut.

The quartet consists of Shade Jenifer, Malik Heard, Bradley Rittmann, and Landon Boyce. They came together in episode three of the show and went on to deliver standout performances of Usher’s ‘U Remind Me’ and Miguel’s ‘Sure Thing.’

Sharing their excitement about the signing, Soulidified said:

“We’re proud to officially call Atlantic home. As a band blending backgrounds, our harmony stands for something bigger—unity that we’re excited to share with the world. We’ve worked hard to get here, and we know we’re just getting started.”

Since the show, the group has released two original singles: ‘One & Only’ in August 2025 and ‘What’s Your Name’ this past February. They also recently supported Khalid across four shows.

Their manager, Johnny Wright, who has helped steer the careers of the Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block, praised the foursome:

“From the first time I saw them on ‘Building the Band,’ I knew these four had a rare quality I hadn’t seen in any group I’ve managed before.”

Michael Parker and Justin Horowitz of Atlantic also welcomed the group, saying:

“Beyond their undeniable talent, this band is breaking boundaries in ways that no band has before.”

They need an Asian to balance out the look. The 4 of them together look incomplete and as if they are trying to rehash the early 2000s desperately or like a karaoke band. Best of luck I guess…
