K. Michelle is letting it all out during the press run for her newly announced country album.

The songstress recently stopped by The Breakfast Club to discuss her upcoming album, ‘Jesus and Whiskey’. During the interview, she called out fellow country star Shaboozey.
The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” newcomer shared that, while making the album, Black country artists gave her a harder time than many of her white counterparts.
That led to the hosts asking which Black country artists she had reached out to. K. Michelle revealed that only a few artists showed support. She also shared that Shaboozey once sent her a DM calling her the “GOAT,” but when she later texted him about collaborating on a feature, he allegedly stopped responding.
Michelle then reacted, saying:
“B*tch, I don’t need no feature from you. When they find out you don’t like Black women, it’s over for you anyway.”
She continued:
“We (Black artists) do each other so bad.”

Michelle went on to describe Shaboozey’s actions as performative, claiming he was trying to use her to gain credibility with urban audiences.
While her debut country album isn’t set to arrive until October, there’s still time for things to change between the two artists. However, for now, the Memphis native appears to be drawing a line in the sand.
