Grammy-nominated rapper Lil Durk (born Durk Banks), is currently on trial in connection with an alleged murder-for-hire plot targeting fellow rapper Quando Rondo. Prosecutors allege the intended target was Rondo, but his cousin, Lul Pab, was fatally shot during the incident instead.
The trial began on Monday (August 24) in a downtown Los Angeles courtroom. Several supporters attended, including fellow artists G Herbo, Dreezy, and Machine Gun Kelly. MGK’s appearance sparked conversation online, prompting the rock artist to explain on X why he chose to attend the trial.
MGK wrote:
“This has been my bro for a decade
when he called and asked if I’d pull up and support
I’m there no question”
