MNEK continues to flex his versatility on his new single ‘Muscle Marys..’
Lifted from his forthcoming album, ‘BULLDOZER!!,’ the track finds the multi-hyphenate on lyrically reflective terrain.
Speaking on the release, the GRAMMY and BRIT Award nominee shared:
“Muscle Marys.. is a song I wrote about body image and what I feel a lot of men of a certain size deal with but don’t always know how to articulate. This song is me figuring it out and it shows a more vulnerable side to the BULLDOZER!! world. It’s one of my favorite songs I’ve ever put out, I hope people enjoy it too.”
The candid cut serves as the latest taste of its housing LP, which is preceded by singles ‘REVERSE!!’ and ‘OH NO!! ALL THE BOYS!!.’

In tandem with the release of the visual, MNEK unwrapped the official cover and tracklist for ‘BULLDOZER!!.’ – which is due on September 18.

Good to have a positive record. But I liked MNEK more when he was kinda underground just writing good songs. Seems like he may be making the same strategic mistake Sam Smith made (talented, but too focused on gays)…

Very insightful lyricist! And his voice is SOLID top to bottom (unlike shrieky castrati-esque male pop acts). If the visuals were less LGBT-centered, this song could have massive hetero appeal, especially if Mnek picks up where Meghan Trainor and Lizzo left off!
