The rapper’s legal team has slammed 24/7 Productions for casting her as a “spoiled and entitled rap star” in their ongoing debt dispute.

What Nicki Minaj’s Lawyers Argued
Attorneys Bruce Bieber and Hanoch Sheps accused the production company of leaning on sensationalised tropes rather than the contract itself.
“They are trying to prejudice Minaj by referring to the hotel room rates and Minaj’s successes as an overstep rather than a normal billing practice.”
Their position is that every expense carried budget approval, making the itemised receipts a matter of routine touring accounting rather than excess.
The Receipts 24/7 Productions Filed
The company escalated matters by submitting a sworn statement alongside hotel invoices, seeking reimbursement of more than $103,000 in lodging costs.
The bill covers a multi-room stay at the Langham in New York, booked for staff and crew during the December 2023 promotional run.
How the Case Started
24/7 Productions sued Minaj and her company, Pink Friday Productions LLC, in March, alleging more than $275,000 in unpaid expenses tied to her iHeartRadio Jingle Ball performances and the ‘Pink Friday 2’ launch.
The company says it advanced funds for staffing, lighting, sound and transportation on the understanding it would be reimbursed. Minaj’s camp maintains the debts were settled in full.
She has separately moved to be removed from the suit as an individual defendant, arguing any obligation sits with the LLC rather than with her personally.
Not Her Only Legal Headache
The dispute runs alongside a separate claim from law firm Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, which says it is owed $229,541 in unpaid fees. Papers in that case turned up at the gate of her California home last month.
A judge is due to hear arguments on Monday (August 3). None of the allegations have been proven in court.
