Per a lawsuit seen by TMZ, Songz’s team says they received the first payment but says Austin failed to make a second instalment due in July. The promoter allegedly then requested that the show be postponed, which the singer’s camp refused.

The lawsuit claims the team had concerns about the concert’s promotion and repeatedly offered to assist with marketing. Although the ‘Neighbors Know My Name‘ hitmaker remained ready to perform, the event was allegedly postponed, with Ticketmaster notifying ticket holders of the change.

Now, Songz’s company is seeking more than $500,000 for lost performance meet-and-greet revenue, along with alleged damage to his professional reputation and future earning potential.

The drama sees Songz on the other side of a legal wrangle after himself, being embroiled in a number of lawsuits related to claims of sexual assault.
