Joe and Donell Jones took R&B fans on a nostalgic trip down memory lane Thursday night (August 20), but when the dust settled, fans say there was a clear winner: Joe.
The two R&B veterans went hit for hit during VERZUZ‘s latest “R&B Nights” showdown, bringing out some of their biggest records from the 90s and 2000s.

The night was full of surprises; Jones brought out 702 for a performance of ‘Get It Together,’ while Joe had the crowd going wild when 50 Cent joined him for ‘Wanna Get to Know You‘ and ‘Big Rich Town.’
From ‘I Wanna Know‘ to ‘U Know What’s Up,’ the night was packed with classic slow jams and plenty of moments for R&B lovers to relive.
While Jones had his moments, Joe dominated the fan voting, ultimately taking the battle 18-2.
