Taylor Swift just gave her beloved fans (affectionately called #Swifties) another reason to press PLAY.
During a special Grammy Museum session recently, the superstar surprised attendees with a six-minute piano mashup of hits weaving together her songs ‘I Knew It, I Knew You,’ ‘August‘ and ‘All Too Well.’

Swift explained that the performance was inspired by the acoustic section of her record-breaking ‘Eras Tour,’ telling the audience:
“I would do different songs every night, one on guitar and one on piano, and I started to really have a blast with creating medleys towards the middle/end part of the tour. And I’d really just think about different songs I could mash up with other songs (as) kind of a surprise and delight moment for fans.”
The mashup followed a 42 minute interview with Recording Academy chief Harvey Mason Jr. discussing her albums and offering an audience Q&A.
The intimate performance was released online, giving fans who weren’t in the room a front-row seat to the surprise.
