A$AP Rocky brought the larger-than-life world of ‘Don’t Be Dumb’ to London with a sold-out showing at The O2.

Landing as the first UK stop of the European leg, the arena spectacle saw Pretty Flacko fuse the new with the nostalgic while leaning all the way into the theatrical universe surrounding his chart-topping fourth album.

And, true to Rocky form, subtlety was never really on the menu.

One of the night’s defining moments landed early, as the Harlem hitmaker made his entrance from the show’s signature helicopter set piece, immediately setting the tone for a show designed to feel every bit as outsized as the album era powering it.

The action did not remain confined to the stage either.

Immersiveness defined the spectacle, with much of the first act featuring the Hip-Hop titan mosh with his mega-fans.

At one point, Rocky ventured into the upper reaches of the venue to perform among the audience, stretching the immersive experience all the way into the nosebleeds.

Musically, ‘Don’t Be Dumb’ was naturally given room to roar, with ‘Helicopter,’ ‘Punk Rocky,’ and ‘Stole Ya Flow’ among the newer cuts receiving the live treatment. Earlier faves including the UK-adopted anthem ‘Praise The Lord’ and ‘Sundress’ ensured the set still travelled across Rocky’s wider catalogue.

The London touchdown continues a run that has been making waves since the ‘Don’t Be Dumb Tour’ kicked off in Chicago earlier this year. It also arrives after the album blasted to #1 on the Billboard 200, earning Rocky his third chart-topper.

Having since played Dublin, Glasgow, and Manchester, the European trek next rolls into Cologne and more before hitting Paris and a host of other major cities en route to its October 11 finale in Athens.

Between the towering production, crowd immersion, and a catalogue now armed with a fresh chapter, Rocky’s latest live incarnation feels purpose-built for arenas.
