Full story below…
Per Official Charts, ‘9 to 5’ rockets seven places to #5 on this week’s Official UK Singles Chart.
The showing gives Parton a new career-best, surpassing the previous #7 peaks achieved by ‘Jolene’ and her Kenny Rogers collaboration ‘Islands In The Stream.’
And both of those classics are enjoying renewed highs too.
‘Jolene’ climbs to a new peak of #6, while ‘Islands In The Stream’ rises to #9.
The historic showing extends the extraordinary resurgence of Parton’s catalogue since her death at age 80 on August 25.
Within a day of her passing, TGJ reported that ‘Jolene’ had surged to #1 on global Apple Music and iTunes charts, as listeners around the world revisited the superstar’s extensive catalogue.
Now, decades after their original releases, three of her most enduring songs are rewriting her UK chart history together.

You sound dumb as hell and it isn’t even funny lol.
