If only you knew takes on a new meaning for R&B diva KeKe Wyatt as she’s officially hitting back at explosive reports that her recent arrest was due to cruelty to children and other shocking allegations.

Hours after the news rang across social media that the songstress had been booked into the Henry County Jail in Georgia on charges of terroristic threats, simple assault, and cruelty to children, the mom-of-11 took to social media to combat the narrative.
And although a representative for the county’s Sheriff’s Office confirmed said charges, Wyatt is singing a different tune.
“Contrary to information currently being circulated, the Henry County court documentation reflects one charge: Simple Assault,” said the statement issued by Wyatt’s team on Friday (September 25). “KeKe Wyatt was not charged with cruelty to children, terroristic threats and acts, or aggravated assault as has been reported by certain media outlets. We are particularly concerned about the circulation of allegations involving cruelty to children as this is an extremely serious characterization…”
The address divided commenters, with some critics pointing out its content seemed to be generated by AI.
Regardless, Wyatt is seeming unfazed by the noise and – according to the statement – will be keeping her performance schedule as promised without interruption.
At writing, the 44-year-old has not spoken publicly about the matter herself.
