The competition began in May as part of the SBA’s Freedom 250 celebrations. Five finalists will compete for a tiered prize pool totaling $1 million, with first place receiving $400,000.
The finale takes place on September 18 in Washington, D.C. It remains unclear where the show will air.
Minaj has been a vocal supporter of President Trump. Her role in the competition marks another step in her increasingly public political alignment.
The competition aims to support small businesses across the country.
