RAYE is setting the record straight on those Michael B. Jordan dating rumors.

The ‘Where Is My Husband‘ singer was asked about the speculation while hitting the red carpet at the 2026 MTV VMAs, following weeks of chatter surrounding her relationship with the Hollywood star.

Rumors began swirling in August after RAYE and Jordan were spotted at Six Flags Magic Mountain in California, with fan-captured footage of the pair enjoying the rides quickly going viral.

Reports afterwards offered conflicting accounts of whether the outing was romantic or part of a larger group.

However, songbird has now made her stance clear.

Asked what she made of fans “getting away with themselves,” she responded:

“Oh no, we’re just lovely friends.” 

The singer did confirm there’s more to their connection professionally, revealing that they’ve been “working on some things” together.

Sources previously reported that RAYE is involved with a soundtrack for a project connected to Jordan.
