Just hours after sending her beloved fans (affectionately called #Swifties) into a frenzy with the sneak peek at the music video for her next single ‘Patient Zero,’ Pop diva Taylor Swift has delivered the full version of the tune ahead of its accompanying visual’s premiere at the VMAs on Sunday (September 27).

“But if you wanna party with somebody who might know / About the devil on his shoulder under his halo / When the toxins take their hold, you’d rather die than let it go / But if you’re sick of him, I got you, I was patient zero,” she sings over Max Martin production.

Arrived to digital shelves on Friday (September 25), the song comes as the first taste of previously unheard music set to line Swift’s forthcoming ‘The Life of a Showgirl: the Encore‘ – the official extended version of her history-making 2025 album ‘The Life of a Showgirl.’

Expanding the original’s tracklist by four new songs – ‘Zero,’ ‘Babylon,’ ‘Pink Clouding,’ and ‘Cleveland’ – hop inside to stream the revamped LP courtesy of Apple Music and Spotify.

With the avalanche of glowing negative reviews, Taylor Swift is clearly on a mission to outshine Katy Perry not in talent or innovation, but in clinching the prestigious title of the worst-reviewed pop diva album of the decade on Metacritic.

Who knew that after years of chart domination, Swift’s true legacy would be mastering the art of spectacularly missing the mark? At this pace, she might just redefine what it means to “break the internet” by breaking it with disappointment instead. Bravo!

Yo, she straight up gotta lay the hell off and chill for a minute. These tracks? Straight trash, no cap. This ain’t music, it’s a damn crime against ears everywhere. Whoever let this mess drop should be ashamed this ain’t just bad, it’s straight-up disrespectful to real musicians.

For real, this garbage should’ve stayed locked up and never seen the light of day. Step back, take a break, and come back when you got something worth listenin’ to, ‘cause this? Nah, fam, this is pure wack.

The shining beacon of white privilege. Because obviously, the only way to become the world’s biggest artist is by writing songs that sound like they were brainstormed during a glitter glue craft session. Talent? Nah, that’s just a cute rumor. It’s all about having the perfect combo of a diary, a trust fund, and a marketing team that treats you like royalty. Meanwhile, the rest of us are out here hustling for a fraction of that spotlight without a privilege pass or a playlist curated by the universe itself. But hey, why bother with actual artistry when you’ve got the privilege playlist on repeat?
