With today (October 31) being Halloween itself, MJ’s mega-hit has rocketed to #1 on Apple Music US.

Over on Spotify US, the song storms to #2 (up right spots) with 1.36 million streams. On the platform’s Global tally, it also returns to #8 (up thirty-nine spots) with 3.09 million streams.

The streaming surge comes as ‘Thriller’ eyes a major placement on the upcoming iteration of the Billboard Hot 100 amidst its Halloween omnipresence and the release of new physical editions.

The cut’s re-explosion comes during a wildly successful run for Brand MJ this year, which has been blazing following the billion-dollar-grossing biopic, ‘Michael.’

Long live the King!
