Doechii is back with another dose of rap fire!
The Grammy-winning rapper has unleashed ‘CATWOMAN,’ the latest instalment of her revived ‘Swamp Sessions‘ series, and she is making a statement with the cinematic release.
Full story below…
Arriving on October 20, the track sees the Florida-born star flex her lyrical prowess over a hard-hitting, boom-bap-inspired beat, with lyrics like:
“Who tryna pop with me? Realize she just popping tea/
Hip hop elite and a popstar, drop the beat”
The accompanying visual takes things up a notch, co-directed by Doechii and Carlos Acosta.
The release follows ‘BOMBS,‘ which arrived on October 12 and marked the return of ‘Swamp Sessions.’ The creative series first gained traction in the run-up to her acclaimed 2024 mixtape, ‘Alligator Bites Never Heal.’
With Doechii working towards her debut studio album, ‘CATWOMAN’ offers fans another serving of her lyrical heat.
