Nearly five months after delivering ‘Retrospect,’ her first album in almost 10 years, Mya is showing no signs of slowing down in its support.
Branding the LP a sonic ode to the funk and R&B stylings of the 70’s and 80’s, the GRAMMY winner has already earned critial acclaim aplenty on the backs of the set’s three lead singles ‘ASAP,’ ‘Just a Little Bit‘ with Too $hort,’ and ‘Give It To You.’
Over the weekend, she returned the official accompanying music video for the album’s fourth release ‘Saturday Night.’
“Nobody trippin’, you could do you / I’m just saying you can come as you are / Everybody wanna come through / Don’t it feel so good / Do whatever you like / So good / Feels like Saturday night,” she sings over MyGuyMars production.

This is a hit, send it to radio
I like it, but it’ll get no play because payola is what drives popular music, and those checks are written by the major labels, and Mya is independent. But this is a jam.
