According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Titania Davenport, the late Migos rapper’s mother, is seeking to have the case heard in Georgia rather than Texas, arguing that key witnesses, including the rappers, are based in the Atlanta area.
Davenport previously sued 810 Billiards & Bowling, the Houston venue where Takeoff was fatally shot in November 2022. The case settled in 2025, but a dispute has since emerged over how to divide the payout.
Takeoff’s father, Kenneth Ball, reportedly believes he is entitled to half to the settlement. However, Davenport alleges that he provided little financial or emotional support during their son’s childhood.
Davenport, also Quavo’s sister, says she raised Takeoff largely on her own and that he relied on her for financial support.
A judge will ultimately decide whether the dispute proceeds.
