Donald Lawrence Readies 20th Anniversary Project via eOne
Gospel hitmaker Donald Lawrence has lent some of the genre’s most memorable hits of the past two decades. With a resume that lists such hits as ‘Prayer of Jabez (Bless Me)’, ‘The Best Is Yet To Come’, ‘Encourage Yourself’, and more, Lawrence has penned a number of gospel classics that seems set to only grow.
Evidence of such is this week’s announcement of a ’20th Anniversary’ project. Set to highlight past hits as well as feature new gems, the Entertainment One sponsored two-disc set (due in September) is set to see its first single drop May 2013.

Who Cares?
That’s what the consumers say when it’s time by your favorites music!
Why are most male gospel singers queens? Isn’t that like a sin or some s***?
Irrelevant
I love Alexis Spight! Her music is so awesome and the snippets sound great! I’ll definitely be buying her album. And it’s about time that Hezikiah Walker come out with something new. His last album souled out came out in 2008. Beside all these horrible comments I’m so glad you guys are posting gospel articles because gospel appeals to the urban as well. Keep the posts coming!
Sam, you should post the trailer to Kierra and Karen Sheard’s new reality show The Sheard’s coming April 7th.
