Ms. Pat is adding another appointment to viewers’ television calendars.

Her new comedy competition, ‘America’s Funniest People’, premieres in a mere matter of weeks. And the first trailer has arrived.

The network announced the launch, confirming two opening episodes on VH1 on November 16 at 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. ET/PT.

That double-episode schedule will continue each Monday throughout the 12-episode run.

The format puts three content creators in competition for a cash prize, with internet clips, pranks, stunts, and questionable decisions supplying the material for Pat’s commentary.

Produced by V10 Entertainment, the company behind ‘America’s Funniest Home Videos’, the series also counts the comedian among its executive producers.

Pat summed up the appeal:

“It’s funny, and I get to do what I do best – say what everybody else is thinking.”

The new gig broadens a television portfolio that already includes her sitcom and courtroom series.
