Having wrapped a world tour last Fall following the release of her ‘Greatest Hits’ LP, the Pop diva is making a beeline for the charts with her as yet untitled 10th studio album. And while many believed the project was in its infancy, it appears the 43-year-old siren is ready to ring the alarm much sooner.

As one of the few seasoned divas who still has “it” (enough to compete on the contemporary charts), news of “New J.Lo” has us all sorts of amped. Especially that of the RedOne persuasion (see: ‘On The Floor’, ‘Papi’, ‘Dance Again’).
That said, recent years have seen her deliver so-so albums with one or two undeniable bangers to compensate. Here’s hoping the much-hyped album #10 does away with this pattern and instead serves up hits like this…

All of her albums are great, even Love? has great songs in it but albums like “On The 6”, “J.Lo”, “This is Me…Then”, ” Rebirth”, “Brave” and her best vocals delivered “Como Ama Una Mujer” which is her best, she should make an album like that in English, people would take her more seriously as a singer, that album is a “Gem” and shits on most English language albums of today, take your time people and expand your horizons, it’s just another language but the music is so good, J.Lo Rocks.

We all know her album is going to be dance pop. She may throw in some old school Jenny from the Block but don’t expect her to fully return to her roots. She as well as her confirmed collaborators (ahem Redone) have already announced she’s got a lot of dance tracks.
At this point, unless it’s got a hip hop feel to it like On the Floor did, I won’t be interested. Personally, I enjoyed Love? Had it not been pushed back multiple times, had she not been a judge on AI, had it not had 1 or 2 flop lead singles prior to On the Floor, and she actually promoted it, then it would’ve been a bigger success.
While J.Lo might not be the best singer she is truly an entertainer. Janet, Beyonce, JLO, and Gaga are all GREAT entertainers. Look forward to the new album and new videos to come along with that!

I´m usually carefull with what I say, that´s why I always say JLo has no talent for MUSIC. Meaning creating music: singing, sonwriting, or something. That´s why I used the word “dancing” in one of my comments, she has talent for that. About acting… she is decent, nothing more. Her career is full of mediocre films cos no superior league director would ever hire her.

Janet or Madonna´s catalogue-music destroy JLo. The thing is her music, now and then, is basic. I like many of these girls who don´t have good voices. Not JLo, cos she is useless when it comes to music. I mentioned songwriting cos there are people who are not great singers but are great songwriters, meaning they are useful for music and create art, not because it is necessary to be a songwriter, of course true great Whitney houston was “only” a singer. Also, I already said she is a good dancer and a decent actress (and it´s not an opinion that she is just decent hun, look it up anywhere, her roles are basic, she gets the job done, but that´s it, look the reviews at any respectable site, or even better, watch her movies and then compare them to true greats in the acting world)

But she got “the thing”. She has style, she has beauty, she has an energy that makes us wanna dance, she’s just hot!!!
People can say anything about her but it doesn’t really matter ’cause she’s still on the game and being succesful until now. She’s a conplete enterteiner, no one can’t deny this.
She’s still doing a great job without doing a lot of things to look eccentric, weird, she doesn’t do crazy things to call people attention like most of new artist are doing! She maintains that classic and beautiful “diva concept” that Beyoncé, Mariah, Alicia Keys do and I love this elegant ladies.
I’m a great fan of her work and I think she’s briging something amazing! Hoping this #10 album, and I know it’s going to be hot!!!

I would love JLO to produce another CD like “On The 6”! I can’t wait to hear the songs Breezy wrote for her. Folks can dog her vocal ability and say whatever but she was never a Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Beyonce etc. However, she sang great songs within her range coupled with amazing dance moves so stop hating “yall”! 🙂
Love? is actually an album I bought because I want to support over 40 women who make pop music (i’m anti agism). There were some good songs, but overall it was an uneven project. I love her dance songs and also her R&B songs (like the ones Ashanti wrote). She should ask Ashanti to submit some songs to her new project.
