24 years after he first appeared in ‘Uncanny X-Men’, Remy ‘Gambit’ LeBeau has found a new friend in ‘Magic Mike’ actor Channing Tatum, who’ll portray the Southern gent in ‘X-Men: Apocalypse.’

Set for release in May 2016, ‘Apocalypse’ will see Tatum portray the Louisianan mutant, doing so with the aid of producer Lauren Shuler Donner, who shared:
“He’s a rogue, Channing, he’s a rascal, just like Remy LeBeau.He can handle the action, as we know, and he’s got a real good heart, I know him personally.He’ll be great for Gambit, and he’s a southerner too, he understands that world, and you know Gambit loves New Orleans.”

Probably not as this is set in the past so they need to get a new young actor if
they’re going to have storm– Halle is too old now. They’ll probably try and cast someone like Lupita.
For X-men: Apocalypse ?
Yeah it’s set after the events of DOFP (70’s) and I think they have basically re-written the timeline to void the previous x-men trilogy.
Oh ok, well in that case, I hope they cast wonderful new talent… I heard the Lupita/Storm rumor… But im not too sure how that would work out, I have to see her in an action film first before they cast her as a younger Storm… No shade to Lupita
Gambit one of my fav x-men,i hope this dude do the character justice. on the other hand,i think he will though.

This guy is hot! But he is not a especially good actor. He´s better at comedic roles, I´ll give him that.
