Cardi B will no longer headline ‘BZR WKND Jamaica.’
The Rap superstar has abruptly withdrawn from the Kingston festival just ten days before she was due to take the stage at the National Stadium.

Cardi’s representatives confirmed the cancellation in a statement provided to Billboard:
“Cardi B will not be performing at BZR WKND Jamaica on October 18, 2026.”
The statement added that the Grammy winner appreciates the support she has received from her Jamaican fans and hopes to see them in the future.
However, neither Cardi’s camp nor festival organizers had publicly explained the reason for her withdrawal at the time of reporting.
Her appearance had been billed as one of the main attractions of the four-day event, which combines music, food, fashion, tourism, and broader Jamaican culture. It would also have placed the ‘AH HA’ hitmaker on the same stadium stage that hosted Vybz Kartel’s blockbuster ‘Freedom Street’ homecoming concert.
The cancellation arrives weeks after Cardi confirmed that a new album and a “humongous” European tour are being plotted for 2027.
BZR WKND ticket holders have been directed to the festival organizers for updates concerning refunds, replacement programming, and the status of the wider event.
